Spirituality should bring you into greater alignment, not pull you away from your body, your relationships, or your everyday responsibilities.

In this episode, I’m talking about what spiritual imbalance can look like, from anxiety, exhaustion, and emotional triggers to relying so heavily on tarot or other spiritual tools that you stop trusting your own inner voice. Not everything is a spiritual attack, and not every decision needs to be taken to the altar. Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is slow down, ground yourself, and take care of your human needs.

I also share how moving too quickly can create unnecessary tower moments, why divine timing matters, and how vetiver can support grounding, emotional stability, and spiritual realignment. Spiritual growth is not about rushing to become more gifted. It is about creating balance between your human connection and your connection with God.

Spiritual alignment is freedom. Take care of your human side with the same intention you give your spiritual side, because both are necessary for lasting growth.

Let's begin. So we'll pray our song bowl so that we can take away any negative energy or any interruptions while we spend this time together. Today our scent is vertebra. And I actually have in our handy dandy alabaster box the actual root verteram. It's the oil of tranquility, and we're gonna drop it in our handy dandy diffuser. It's also good for anchoring of the mind and body. It's also good during transitions. And it's also good for balancing your chakras, which one day we'll definitely get into chakras. Clearing negative energy, it also promotes emotional stability. It deepens your connection to Mother Earth. To be clear, spirituality is not a fruit-for-all. Like everything on this planet, there's an ebb and a flow. Spiritual imbalances can show up in all kinds of ways, taking things personal, reacting defensively, the feeling of being stuck with the lack of motivation, a sense of quiet exhaustion, of feeling like something's off, just to name a few. It is also the neglect of wholeness, being so heavenly minded until you're no earthly good. You're so focused on heavenly spirituality practices until you neglect the physical health, your physical health, relationships, and daily responsibilities. For example, taking care of your altars or taking care of the needs of the church before you take care of your immediate family, like your spouse and or your children, or any other responsibility that you have. It can show up in mental and emotional distress. This shows up when fear, anxiety, overthinking, and strong emotions stick around way longer than normal. It can feel like you're always on the edge, easily triggered, or carrying a heavy feeling and you just can't shake it. Your chakras can be imbalanced, and this means your energies are off, your emotions are off, and it's just something that ain't right. Just not hitting. Or maybe you're having trouble speaking up for yourself. You're feeling extra worried or emotionally overwhelmed. It's your body and your spirit's way of saying, hey, something's off. There needs to be attention somewhere. Feeling disconnected from yourself is when you don't feel like you're you. It's that thing that makes you glow and it just disappears. You might feel lost or numb or unaware of what you want, or you're just going through the motions instead of living from your heart. And trauma. Trauma can live in your body. Hard experiences don't just live in your memory, they show up in your body through stress, tension, fear, emotional triggers, and all that can linger. Healing means giving yourself space, support, and care so that your mind and body can settle back into peace. Because we all know peace is where we would like to live. Being overstimulated spiritually is not a sustainable place to be. If I've learned nothing else in this journey, I learned that this journey is definitely not a race. Your journey is personal to you. And running is not what gets you results. It puts you in a space where you may not mentally be able to handle or process all that you need at the time. Divine timing is everything. Let me say that again. Divine timing is everything. When you're out of sync spiritually, it can cause what I like to refer to as unnecessary tower moments. Moments where it just hits the fan. Things break all the way down, the building is on fire, and the only thing you can do is watch it behind. Now to again be clear, nothing has happened, chance. So did God know that they were coming? Yes. Sometimes these moments are already written in our destiny, but sometimes these moments are caused because of our own free will. And not being spiritually fit can usher them writing in prematurely. Sometimes, when you're out of alignment, you can make these tower moments out of a small pebble. What could simply be something you could step over is now a fire raging out of control. Not everything is a spiritual attack. And not every action deserves to be addressed at your altar. We're all spiritual beings having a human experience. We should most definitely remember that first. Because that is what is happening. When I first got into tarot, I was reading every day for myself, which is a great way to learn. However, when you find yourself unable to make the simplest of decisions without using tarot or the Bible or a pendulum or any other divination tool to make a decision, like as simple as where to eat dinner, then it's way too much. If you stop using your inner voice, your inner intuition, your gut, you exalt the tool and not the God in you. It's easy to get caught up in the passion and the growth of learning something new, especially about spirituality and how it works, until you confuse this with spiritual growth. When spiritual growth is actually about having balance between the realms of your human connection and your God connection, allowing your gifts to be a tool used in an everyday conversation. When there's a seamless line of communication and you can tap into your spirituality anytime, because just as you shower, brush your teeth, clean your house, or cleanse your aura, say your prayers, you are authentically one with God daily. Every human's daily routine is different. It has its own ebb and flow. So instead of pulling daily for myself, I just pull once a month for myself. I journal it, and then I keep it moving. I use my inner voice, my body, to feel what's the right decision right now and in this moment. Do I use tools on major things? Absolutely. For different situations, but I use that situation by situation. Spirituality has order, just like everything in life. You shouldn't skip steps, and you should most definitely do your research, gain knowledge and understanding before you dive in. Go slow. It's not a race. Getting that faster won't mean you won. So slow down. Take care of your human side just as you care for your spiritual side because they go hand in hand. Hygiene maintains clarity. Grounding prevents fragmentation. Stability allows growth. Maintenance is respect. And responsibility creates longevity. This week, if you like, you can get you some vativa oil and rub it at the bottom of your feet and at the base of your spine. Sit with it. Let it wash away insecurities. Let it wash away deep-seated anger, and let it help realign you with your relationship with God. And if you really want to, you can actually grab you some root, Vativa root, and boil it in water. Let the water cool all the way down. I like to let my water sit for about three to four hours after it's boiled so that it can have a great coolness to it. You can step in your shower, pour the water over your head, and let it do the same thing. Wash away insecurities. It can absolutely wash away some angers, deep-seated angers, as well as help realign you back in alignment with God. I'm Scarlet Trout, earthly good and heavenly minded. Spiritual alignment is freedom. And as always, in closing, may the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight. O Lord, my strength and my redeemer. Ashe.
